Country music vids

Saw one on GAC this morning I'd forgotten the song, Act Naturally , Buck Owens and Ringo Starr, haha . What a combo. Anybody remember what killed Hee-Haw, Buck Owens wasn't a bad country act , in fact he was more "western swing" . He teamed up with Don Rich, old Don crammed his Harley up an oak. OOOOooo that smell, kinda reminded me of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Rich could do what he wanted with a lead axe, Roy Clark got the air time, classical stuff I guess, but I thought Don made the show. Anyway, shortly after he died the show ended.

when I was a kid Hee Haw was a staple of (Saturday night?) tv. I think it was pretty much a weekend thing where we would go to my grandparents up in Dunbar and watch HeeHaw when we got home at night. My cousin's from Kentucky would be there most of the time too.

I get a kick out of ol spuds sometimes. I guess if I had ever watched Hee Haw I wold have known what he was talking about.

It was before cable, Ed Sullivan was another..... another world. And I just kinda wondered if anyone ever thought about the show anymore or Don Rich. Sometimes I put in a thought for folks to finish or to see where it leads them. NOLA and blue52 are about the only ones that are really that diverse as far as I know and music is the subject,( at least as far as I know) both know more than I, by a long way.
